A Classic Reborn to the Top of its League August 19, 2010 Reviewer: BC from , United States   For the price of the new G4 Big Muff Pi, worth it doesn't even explain the value ($99?).I own lots of pedals... lots of pedals. As far as fuzz and distortion, I'm all ways getting something new or building something.  I believe the circuit has been split down the middle with both sections running it sounds like a germanium standard bmp i've played in the past. But the division between sections is really nice. OD section is very much like a boutique fuzz face and the distortion is more like a brown in the box kind of pedal. This thing is different and is not much like but similar to a standard bmp. I've been excited since I saw the G4 announcement and saw it was going to be roughly $100.  I've payed $300+ for some pedals that in the end I wasn't impressed. I haven't even had it long but I believe this is going to be one of those bmp's down the road that everyone wants and won't be able to find. EHX has been making awesome pedals the last few years and really has a masterpiece here. Was this review helpful to you?
